After keyboard is minimised a box is left (android pixel 7a))

When typing a message and minimising the keyboard an empty box is left where the keyboard once was.

@ display names not selectable in android

When I @ people in a chat message their name/profile appears (an attempt auto completion) but when I try and click it does not select and auto fill the username. I instead have to write the whole name out
