Same. I selected private and no profile picture on initial signup, but now want to be public and add a picture. This app seems really cool, but I can't interact at all because everything I post is private no matter how many times I try to update my settings. Changing my username works, but changing privacy settings or photo is a no go on my app. They select on the selection screen but don't save or even load it for the current instance of the app to make me feel like I did something.

I have this same issue, nothing will change off only me except for my profile which is public. no point in posting if noone can read it!
