It would be highly beneficial to integrate the Don’t Die app with the Android Health Connect platform. Health Connect acts as a centralized hub that aggregates data from various health and fitness apps, such as Samsung Health, and allows other apps to access this data securely and efficiently.
By connecting to Health Connect, the Don’t Die app could seamlessly retrieve comprehensive health metrics from multiple sources, offering users a more holistic view of their health without requiring direct integration with individual platforms. This approach would streamline data collection and enhance user experience by leveraging Health Connect as a proxy for accessing diverse health data125

Thank you for your comment, I join it! Understanding the reason why Samsung wasn't added to the supported devices, I wanna add some information: as @tareku2003 mentioned in their post, Google has an app (service) for sharing health data called Health Connect. The screenshots I attached show that the Don't Die App supports getting access rights to this data and can already read information recorded by other apps, such as Google Fit and Samsung Health, Huawei Health, etc. Seems that we don't need to connect the device to read data from Health Connect, but without connecting - no data can be seen in the Don't Die App. Could you please evaluate the possibility of adding the feature of reading data only from Health Connect (or maybe addind Health Connect as a virtual device 😄)? This way, we don't need access to Samsung Health, even if Samsung refuses to give it as well as don't need to add devices to track our health data!
